Thanks to Choclette's fantastic round up of last month's Chocolate and Chilli challenge. If you haven't had a chance to see all the hot and spicy entries for October's We Should Cocoa, please head over to the Chocolate Log Blog and check all those bad boys out. And no sooner than last month's round up is complete than it is time to set the challenge for We Should Cocoa November. I hope its not a foreboding sign that setting the challenge has been an extreme challenge in itself!
I've consulted my trusty list of foods in season this month and I'm struck by just how many of them can be slightly tricky to get your hands on in an ordinary day. It would seem that being 'in season' doesn't necessarily make it easy to find! And with Christmas just around the corner I am very aware of how much there is to do and how little time there is to do it. Soooooooooooooo, this months 'special' ingredient is one that is very easy to find, they are in prolific supply for most of the year and if the fresh variety fails to appeal then feel free to fulfil the brief by using it in another form ... maybe juice ... or dried ... or sauce?
Have you guessed what it is yet?
Yep - you got it! APPLES. I'm going to have to put my thinking cap on for this one, can't wait to see what you come up with. Just remember once you've blogged about it, link it back to this post and then send an email to weshouldcocoa@yahoo.co.uk including your name, your blog name, a link to your post and a photo to be included in the round up. Do all of this no later than the 25th of November and you'll be immortalised forever in the We Should Cocoa November 2011 Round Up which I will post here before the 1st December. Happy baking ;0)
